Asparagus with crispy crumbs

Supplies:

  • 2 kg white asparagus
  • 6 slices of stale bread
  • 1 lemon
  • 100 grams of butter
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • ¼ teaspoon chili powder

Preparation method:

Peel and cook asparagus. Meanwhile crusts of ittake bread and crumble finely. Scrub lemon and 2
grate teaspoons.Heat half of the butter in a frying pan andBake breadcrumbs crispy by stirring regularly.In a saucepan, melt the rest of the butter and lemon zest,add thyme and chilli powder. Season with salt.Drain the asparagus and arrange on a dish or plate.Pour over melted butter with herbs and sprinklewith the crispy crumbs.
